GrandMa's Apple Sauce Cake |
| Preheat over to
350° 3 Sticks
softened Butter
3 C Brown Sugar
|
Cream together with
Mixer |
|
3 Cups. Applesauce
preferably Cinammon Applesauce
3 Eggs (Beatened)
6 Tsp. Baking Soda |
Mix and add to Creamed
Mixture above.
Set Aside |

2 ½ Cup. Plain Flour
3 TBSP. Cinnamon
3 TBSP. Allspice
3 TBSP. Nutmeg

Mix.
Set Aside |

1 ¼ Cups. Plain Flour
3 Cups Raisins
2 Cups. Chopped
Nuts (walnuts. Pecans) |
Mix. and add to Dry
Mix above (Flour and Spices) |

Add Cream
Mixture to flour mixture. Stir well. |

Pour into Loaf
pans. |
| STEAM BATH
Water Bath |
Place Loaf pans
into a 9X13 Pan.
Add water to 9x13 pan. Avoiding Loaf pans..
About ½ way up on loaf pans. |

Place in a
preheated 350° Oven. Steam 1 Hour. |

Remove loafs from
Water bath. Place back in the oven for at
least ½ hour more. or till done. |
